Our Mission in Correctional Facilities

Aligned with our broader mission to provide sound biblical teachings and build up the Body of Christ, our Correctional Services Outreach focuses on:​

 

  • Faith-Based Fellowship & Discipleship:
Conducting Bible studies, prayer meetings, and discipleship programs within correctional institutions, providing inmates with spiritual nourishment, encouragement, and the opportunity to grow in their faith. Our approach is relational, focusing on one-on-one discipleship, and group teachings that emphasize forgiveness, inner healing, life and character transformation through following and becoming like Christ.
  • Evangelism & Spiritual Counseling:
Our outreach teams share the message of Christ’s love and redemption with inmates through personal engagements, evangelistic programs, and interactive discussions. We provide spiritual counselling to those seeking hope and renewal, addressing personal struggles such as guilt, shame, anger, and addiction through the transformative power of Christ.
  • Personal Development:
Offering life skills training and counselling to prepare individuals for successful reintegration into society, reflecting our commitment to holistic discipleship.​
  • Reintegration & Follow-Up Programs:
A key part of our outreach is post-release follow-up and discipleship. We provide continued spiritual guidance, accountability, and practical assistance to ex-offenders, helping them transition into a stable and Christ-centered life outside prison. Facilitating connections to other resources and programs (such as discipleship Centers, Retreats, etc.) within LivingSeed Canada, faith communities and support networks to ensure continued growth and support post-release.​
